Trust-Based Relational Intervention
In this edition of Coffee with Colleauges, social worker Gayle Dulong, MSW, RSW, will present Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. The TBRI Principles include: Connecting (Engagement Strategies & Mindful Awareness), Empowering (Ecological & Physiological Strategies), and Correcting (Proactive & Responsive Strategies). This seminar is designed for mental health clinicians.

In this edition of Coffee with Colleagues, Drs. Nikita Yeryomenko and Shawn Harrington share the principles of General Psychiatric Management (GPM), a simple case management approach for non-specialist mental health practitioners treating adults (18+) with Borderline Personality Disorder (BDP).

Eating Disorders
This edition of Coffee with Colleagues is hosted with Jennifer White, MSW, RSW, CEDS. Jennifer will speak about the current best practice modalities in eating disorder treatment. Jennifer has specialized her counselling services in the area of eating disorders, most recently as a therapist and social worker at Paragon Psychology. She structures her treatment on evidence-based practices that are designed specifically to meet the individual’s needs. Mental health practitioners in private practice and public agencies will benefit from this free seminar.
About Jennifer White
Jennifer White is a Registered Social Worker specializing in individual psychotherapy. A graduate of the Masters of Social Work Program at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan, Jennifer White is passionate about continually staying on top of current best practice modalities for psychotherapy. Jennifer also holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jennifer has specialized her counselling services in the area of Eating Disorders, most recently as a therapist and social worker at Paragon Psychology in Walkerville, after spending eight years of her career at Windsor Essex Community Health Centre’s Teen Health Site in Windsor, Ontario. Jennifer has devoted her career to helping individuals suffering with eating disorders – and their loved ones – restore control of their lives. She structures her treatment on evidence-based practices that are designed specifically to meet the individual’s needs. In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Jennifer provides consultation and supervision to her colleagues, and participates in speaking engagements on topics related to adolescent development, mental health and body image. She has also conducted seminars and workshops for caregivers and loved ones of those with eating disorders and mental health challenges throughout Essex County.
Jennifer is a native of Windsor, Ontario where she lives with her husband Sean and two young adult children. She spent years volunteering and being an active member of the Parent Advisory Council of her children’s schools, and is currently on the Board of the Art Gallery of Windsor. In her spare time she enjoys running, reading, and traveling.
